WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR TICKET REQUEST
We will acknowledge receipt of your request for event tickets within 14 days. This acknowledgement will advise the date by which we hope to be able to allocate your tickets. This date will depend on the volume of requests received; whether we have the tickets in stock; or whether we have to make a further application to BOCOG. As a guide, we would hope to be able to dispatch initial ticket confirmations within approximately 4 to 6 weeks of receiving your ticket request. The initial ticket offer that we will send you will show the status of each of your individual ticket requests. For example, whether we have been able to confirm the ticket in the price category requested, whether it is available in a lower or higher price category, whether it is on a waitlist, or whether the session is completely sold out. If your preferred ticket category is unavailable, the nearest possible will be confirmed to you. If we only have a lower price category ticket available, this will be confirmed and your account will show a credit which can be refunded or used against other ticket requests. If a lower Price Category is not available, but a higher Price Category is available, we may contact you to see if you are willing to pay for the higher Price Category.

DISTRIBUTION OF EVENT TICKETS
BOCOG have advised that tickets will be shipped from China in June of 2008. Subject to BOCOG meeting this deadline (and allowing for checking and packing processes), tickets will then be shipped to the recipient via secured common carrier that will require a signature upon receipt. The Customer must include a valid New Zealand street address for delivery purposes at the time of request and the Customer is responsible for keeping Premier informed of any changes to that address. Premier has no obligation or liability whatsoever for any failure by the Customer to fulfil his or her responsibilities. Once the Tickets are collected by the Customer or delivered by Premier, the Customer is solely responsible for safeguarding all Tickets. Tickets are valuable and should be treated like currency. Tickets that are lost, stolen, forgotten, mutilated or destroyed will not be replaced. Tickets that are unreadable due to mutilation of any kind will not be accepted for admission.

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR EVENT TICKET REQUEST

  • Please read the Event Ticket Schedule & Purchasing Guide carefully as this should help answer many of the questions you may have. If you need further assistance, please call our experienced team for further information.
  • Please ensure that you have read the Ticket Request Terms and Conditions thoroughly. It is importantthat you are familiar with these before requesting your tickets.
  • When you play your itinerary, allow plenty of time for travelling to and from the venues and allow for queues entering and exiting the stadium. We suggest you allow at least two hours between each Event Session. On that basis we recommend you try to avoid visiting more than two events per day as this will make you extremely tired and will decrease your enjoyment of the Games.
  • Do not select any ‘second choice’ events when you submit your request. If we are unable to obtain your first choice of event, then you will have the opportunity to request alternative options at a later date.
  • We strongly advise that you do not plan to watch an event on either your day of arrival or departure.
  • If you are travelling to see a friend or relative compete, please complete the relevant part of the request form stating who the athlete is and in which event they are competing. This will ensure you have priority on those tickets where possible.
  • When completing the Ticket Request Form, please make sure that all the entries are clearly written. You must also ensure that the form has been signed and dated and is accompanied by full payment.
