Robert (Bob) Gill
Chief Executive Officer, and Director
Bob Gill has over 30 years experience in international advertising, communications, eventing and sponsorship.
Previously Bob was a chief executive and a founding director of Carat New Zealand, and held the regional position of Area Director Asia Pacific for Carat's sponsor services group, – which recently developed the sponsorship programme for the $90m 2000 America's Cup Village in Auckland, New Zealand.
Prior to Carat New Zealand, Bob was founding director of Strategic Media, an integrated communications company providing strategic advice, planning, media buying and marketing services (including sports marketing, sponsorship and hospitality services). In 2000, Strategic Media with over $80m in capitalised billings and was sold to Carat a member of the Aegis Group Plc.
Bob was also co-founder and chief executive of international sports marketing company, Pascoe Nally International, and founding director of Mainstream Advertising, which was sold to FCB Worldwide in 1984.
As well as developing major international sponsorship rights programmes for the 1987 Rugby World Cup, the 1990 and 1994 Commonwealth Games, the 1994 US Soccer World Cup, the 1992 World Expo in Spain and the2002/3 HSBC Global Education Challenge, Bob has represented the NZ Olympic Committee (1986–1992) and the New Zealand Government on their 150 years of Nationhood campaign.
